Document Status not Changed to "Approval Submitted" the First Time the Manager Clicks on the Submit for Approval Button

Information in this document applies to any platform.
Document Status does not Change to "Approval-Submitted" at the first time when the manager clicks on the Submit for Approval button for the document and acknowledges it. The manager has to repeat the process, in order to change the status of the document.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in as a manager.
2. Select the document acknowledged by the customer.
3. Click on the Submit for Approval button for the document and acknowledges it.
Due to this issue, users (Managers) have to Submit for Approval multiple times, for the document to get submitted.
