Incorrect LTD Depr in Depr Rept Table after In Service dt change and TRF causes incorrect NBV.
If In Service date of a depreciable asset is changed and TRF (say Cost Center is changed) is performed, the LTD depreciation in the Depr Reporting tables adds the previous cost center LTD Depreciation value in the new cost center as well. This later causes the NBV to show incorrect accumulated depreciation.
Correct DEPR_LTD on depr_rpt
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps/example:
1 Add asset with the specific trans 03242014 /acctg date 04142014 and dept 12000.
Use FM convention , SL method and 36 life and calculation type Remaining value. Launch depreciation
2 Change the in service date to 06192014 and use trans/acc 06192014 with calculation type LD .Launch depreciation
3 Transfer use trans act 06192014
Change department to 13000. Launch depreciation
4 Sum on depr for the 3 rows on old deptid 12000 is -422.82 and should be 0 as the new department is 13000
