(Doc ID 1984224.1)
Last updated on MAY 27, 2020
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN General Ledger - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Allocation Is Duplicating Resource ID even though the target tab say transaction ID should be in sequence. As a result , no data is being inserted in PROJ_RESOURCE. This happens only when the target timespan specified is BAL or YTD and Time Span Option from the drop down is "Divide Target Across Periods" since FS_ALLC_TSUM.iTAO.iTAO is called multiple times to insert data in target summary table - dividing the amounts for each accounting period.
Steps to Replicate:
1. Setup Allocation to populate proj_resource with a few consideration as below -
a) No timespan on pool.
b) No timespan on basis.
c) Target tab should say "Any Table" for Target Record Type. Select Table name as PROJ_RESOURCE. Time Span should be BAL or YTD. Target Span Option should be set to "Divide Target Across Periods". Mention accounting date as a target field (source as req date).
2. Run the allocation process (FS_ALLC)
