Symptoms

Employee leave duration calculation is wrong

For some leave types we include the Public Holiday(PH) in the leave duration calculation. When PH falls on saturday it adds one more day in the leave duration for normal shift employees despite being saturday is normal weekend offday.

Eg. Coming 9th Aug is the National Day holiday in singapore which falls on saturday. When employee selects 8-aug as start date and 11th aug as return date and click calculate leave duration it returns 3 which is wrong actually it should return 2 in duration.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Public holiday on Offday should be excluded from absence duration calculation.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Request absence page in Self service
2. Apply leave for duration which has a public holiday on off day and normal work days
3. Public holiday on offday should not be counted as absence
