Information in this document applies to any platform.
In release 9.2 PUM Image 8, after using Mass Transaction Manager (MTM) transaction TRF - Full Asset Transfer, the TRF out rows use a convention of AM (Actual Month) instead of the value given in the MTM User Entered Values
In the customer's case, they don't use the AM convention, so this was creating incorrect depreciation. However, the online TRF correctly uses the MM convention on both the transfer out and transfer in rows.
Steps to replicate:
1. Add an asset in one department, convention MM.
2. Run am_depr_calc.
3. Go to AM, Mass Transactions, Run Mass Transactions. Select the TRF- Full Transfer transaction:
a. In the Selection Criteria, choose the BU and asset created above.
b. In the User Entered Values, select the same BU, convention MM, and any department different than the original.
4. Hit Run.
Expected both the TRF out and TRF in rows to use a convention of MM.
Only the TRF in rows use a convention of MM.
