When Finalizing a Project Budget, The Journal ID field on PC_BUD_DETAIL and PROJ_RESOURCE are having a Journal ID that is not valid. Unable to see these Journals in KK_BUDGET_HDR table.
When Finalizing a Project Budget, The Journal ID field on PC_BUD_DETAIL and PROJ_RESOURCE should not have an invalid value. If the Journal ID is not required, may be it should
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enable Commitment Control for Project Costing.
2. Create a Project & Activity.
3. Create a Budget Plan and Detail. Make sure commitment control fields and GL fields are populated as appropriate and Finalize.
4. Notice that the Journal_ID on PS_PROJ_RESOURCE and PC_BUD_DETAIL is equal to the RESOURCE_ID. There is no budget journals exist in KK.
It is incorrect to have incorrect journal ID in the tables mentioned. The Budget Detail can say 'Posted' link in case of invalid journal id or something similar.
