Symptoms
It appears when running TL_RCMP_RULE process to recompile one rule with the Selected Rules Only option selected on the run control, many other rules not included on the run control are also recompiled. The issue seems to only occur when a different oprid has previously run the same process with the select Selected Rules Only option selected on the run control.
Steps to Recreate:
Navigation: Setup HCM>System Administration>Utilities>Build Time and Labor Rules>Rules Recompile
1. Login as first oprid navigate to Rules Recompile. Use the Selected Rules Only option selected on the run control then enter specific templates to recompile.
2. Click Run to run the Recompile process TL_RCMP_RULE.
3.Now login with different oprid navigate to Rules Recompile. Use the Selected Rules Only option selected on the run control then enter specific Rule ID like KUDFLTREG to recompile.
4. Click Run to run the Recompile process TL_RCMP_RULE.
5. Check the Message log after the process completes to see that more than the specified Rule ID was recompiled.
