After downloading and installing a PUM or DEMO image, there are several items to be "tweaked" to increase the performance and usability of the virtual machine. While the delivered configuration is typically adequate for basic patching operations, if several concurrent users will be using the system, incremental improvements can be made to make the system more effective and improve its performance. The purpose of this note is to highlight some of the more significant items within the context of a VirtualBox system.
