EAM: The INSTSTATUS Field in Worklist has Value of 0, even after the Transaction is Approved (Doc ID 1989726.1)

Symptoms

When the Manager approves an Employee's Absence Request, the PSWORKLIST record's INSTSTATUS field has value equal to 0 (i.e., 'Available') in release 9.2, while in release 9.0 the value is 2 (i.e., 'Worked').

Since the transaction has been approved by Manager which means its 'worked', the INSTSTATUS should equal to the value of 2.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The INSTSTATUS value should be the same for both releases.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Employee submit an Absence Request (such a sick leave) (via Self Service > Time Reporting > Report Time > Absence Request)
2. Manager approves the Employee's Absence Request (via Manager Self Service > Time Management > Approve Time and Exceptions > Absence Request)
3. Run SQL in SQL Analyser and check the the PSWORKLIST record (select count ( * )from PSWORKLIST WHERE OPRID = ‘Manager’s Id’).
4. Check INSTSTATUS results.
