Timezone in My Tasks Reverting Back to Base Time Zone. (Doc ID 1989775.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR  
---------------------
TimeZone reverting back to Base Time Zone once saved in MyTasks page.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
When dropdown is provided for Time Zone in MyTasks page, then it should accept the selected values and should not revert back to base time zone.

STEPS
--------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

In PeopleTools Options , Base Time Zone is set as PST.

Navigate to Main Menu > My Tasks

Select TimeZone other than PST and click Save.

Notice that the timezone reverts back to PST as this is the Base Time Zone .

Issue is if it is reverting back to Base Time Zone then what is the use of providing dropdown for TimeZone in My Tasks page.
