Information in this document applies to any platform.
In PeopleTools 8.53 the delivered documentation is inaccurate regarding the V$SESSION field MODULE value for Application Engine processes:
- Docs :: PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.53 : Data Management > Monitoring PeopleSoft Database Connections >> Monitoring PeopleSoft MODULE and ACTION Information
(e.g. at http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E57990_01/pt853pbh2/eng/pt/tadm/task_MonitoringPeopleSoftDatabaseConnections-077989.html#uf9583d64-cb31-43f1-8bb9-85fecda2a412 ) says:
Application Engine 'PSAE' Application Engine program name, section name, step, and type.
So the expected value in MODULE field for Application Engines would be just 'PSAE', but the actually observed value has this format
This should either be fixed in the product's behavior to match the documentation, or be documented just as it is, to avoid user confusion.
