E-AUDIT: Sysaudit XLATT-3 Error when "Persist In Menu" is Checked (Doc ID 1995953.1)

Last updated on APRIL 26, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.53 to 8.54 [Release 8.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Reported on release PeopleTools 8.53

When "Persist in Menu" is checked for a field (say WORKLISTNAME) in Application Designer, the SYSAUDIT report incorrectly shows the following exception row:

XLATT Definition Audit
(XLATT-3) Translate field(s) do not have associated translate values defined:
Record Name: WORKLIST_VW2

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Open a record in App Designer, say WORKLIST_VW2

2. Open field WORKLISTNAME and check "Persist in Menu"

3. Run the SYSAUDIT report

4. The report should show the error XLATT-3 for Record Name: WORKLIST_VW2 and Field Name: WORKLISTNAME

Note: The above field and record are just mentioned as an example. This issue can occur for other fields too. Note also that if "Persist in Menu" is not checked for field WORKLISTNAME, then the SYSAUDIT report would not show an exception row for  XLATT-3.
