Goal

In PeopleTools 8.5x Integration Broker an inbound service operation triggers "Schema validation failed for Message: {MESSAGE_NAME} Version: {MESSAGE_VERSION} " errors, but after in the service operation definition the box "Runtime Schema Validation" is unchecked, the errors stop, and the incoming data are processed successfully, no lost data, no data-related errors.

Why would the run-time schema validation, when active, fail on an apparently valid data set?
