Symptoms
For a Rehired employee, the Years of Service should not include Years away from work.
Job data of KU0006 Hire date : 05/12/1987
Add a termination date on 05/12/2007 - years of Service 20 years 0 months 0 years - Correct
Rehire on 05/12/2014 - years of Service 27 years 9 months 26 days - Incorrect. It starts calculating from the Hire date (Org Instance Service date) which is correct. However, it also adds to count, the period between termination date and rehire date – years Away from Work.
Years of Service should not include Years away from work.
