E-WL - Failed Hostname Verification Check During stopPIA Script Call
Last updated on APRIL 21, 2015
Applies to:PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.50 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
After applying SSL certificates to WebLogic 10.3.4, the server would no longer shut down using 'stopPIA.sh." Everything else seemed to work correctly. The error we would receive is "Certificate chain received from host.comp.org - 220.127.116.11 failed hostname verification check. Certificate contained *.comp.org but check expected host.comp.org; No available router to destination." After researching Oracle Support, we found that this issue is fixed in WebLogic version 10.3.6. We upgraded to Weblogic 10.3.6 but we are still experiencing the same problem.
