ECRM: Text Tray Functionality Not Working Properly When Used Within Description Of Case (Doc ID 2002401.1)

Symptoms

When using the text tray functionality (that is located on the Case toolbar) on the case tab within the description of the case and selecting an existing text trays (quick key links) some times it will paste the text automatically within the description when selecting, other times you have to double click and sometimes it will not respond at all. Also, the Close button does not function within the IE popup window.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Search for and select a case within Support > Case tab,
  2. Cursor in description
  3. Click "text trays" within Case tool bar
  4. Pop up appears
  5. Click close
  6. Does not function you have to click red X.
