RB_MAIL_READ Fails to Process Email Sporatically on MS Exchange 2010 (Doc ID 2002472.1)

Occasionally, ERMS email is not processed by RB_MAIL_READ, and the error in the Message Log shows: &ErmsErr.ERMSErrCd [2]=10 (0,0 )

Symptoms

ISSUE:
Customers on CRM (any version) using PT 8.49 and above, who are using MS Exhcange 2010 for the ERMS mailserver, may see that some ERMS email will not get processed.  The email will remain in the ERMS indefinately.
Although the RB_MAIL_READ process that is supposed to process and deliver this email to CRM completes to SUCCESS, in the Message Log will be the following error:
&ErmsErr.ERMSErrCd [2]=10 (0,0 )

The AE Trace file the following error will be seen:

-- 09.40.54 ..(RB_MAIL_READ.CKRUNFLG.Step03) (PeopleCode)

-- 09.40.54 Program Skipping Step due to non-zero return code from PeopleCode at RB_MAIL_READ.CKRUNFLG.Step03
