Portal pagelets don't work after modifing the portal definition

PT 8.53
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) 2012 R2

Steps:

1) Signon to the PIA
2) Stay on the homepage


Error:
--------
XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://sitename.com/psp/dhidev_newwin/EMPLOYEE/HRMS/c/ROLE_EMPLOYEE.HR_EMAIL_ADDRESSES.GBL?NAVSTACK=Clear&jquery=lightbox. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://sitename.com' is therefore not allowed access.
