ETL9.2: How System Knows to Show AM or PM? Backend Stored Value in 24 hrs Format so How does it Show AM or PM on Front? Is there any setup?

One the users is facing this issue from last 3 weeks. Whatever time she entered it always change to AM She is not able to submit her timesheet. Her manager is able to submit timesheet on her behalf. We are 9.1 bundle 6 PT 8.53
Can you please tell how this time is formated to happen? How does system knows that it has to show AM or PM?   Is there a way to configure this?
