On : 9.2 version encountering extremely poor performance when testing the Real Time Time Administration Rules (RTTA) feature.
We have time coming in thru time clock which does not go thru Real time processing. Therefore, we have batch process running every hour for the time clock employees. But if a Manager touches the time thru online, then real time rules processing kicks off and it takes over 20 minutes to complete. The long running time is in app.engine TL_TA000600.GD00.Step100 that is shown in AWR report.
In the sql the alias "B" is used for two tables, that is causing the issue.(%Table(TL_PMTCHB_TMP) B and PS_TL_RPTD_TIME B )
On the timesheet when real time rules applied, it has performance issue.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Turn on real time rule feature
2. Load time via Time Clock Interface
3. report time for employee on timesheet that will invoke several rules
4. When real time rule is applied on the timesheet, it hits a performance issue.
Real time rules is working but there is a significant delay.
