Is There a Process to Purge Data from Tables Populated by Consolidated Statistics Processes? (Doc ID 2006554.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 01, 2017

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Customers generate consolidated statistics data many times during a term for a variety of reporting needs, each of which requires a unique Academic Statistics Period value to be created. The consolidated statistics processes populate the following tables:

STDNT_CONS_STAT

STDNT_CARTRM_PD

SSR_STD_CON_ST2

The processes can insert data rows for every active student at the institution, so over several terms the tables that hold the data could exceed a million rows. The actual academic statistics period list of values can become so long that it becomes unwieldy in a prompt field. Is there a way to delete rows from these tables for date ranges or statistics periods, and to delete academic statistics values themselves?
