Last updated on OCTOBER 01, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Time and Labor - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After applying TAX Update 14F, Bundle16-18 Preliminary Calculation does not properly create pay earings rows for non-regular hours (Holiday, PTO, etc) for salaried employees.

Prel Calc should assign the earnings rows correctly as its done when Load TL is running.

STEPS

a) INSTALLATION table setup with "Load in Prel. Calc" flag selected
b) This is a problem for salaried employees only. Select a salaried employee.
c) Run Paysheet Creation process
d) Create a payable time - 32 hrs Regulars, 8 hrs Holiday

TEST#1
e) Run Prel Calc that would load time to payroll without running LOAD

TEST#2
f) Run Load TL that would load time to payroll (don't run prel calc)

Notice that holiday is populated differently.

Xref numbers are not assigned correctly when loading time through Preliminary Calculation process.

Due to this issue, the pay other earning rows not get distributed or diluted during the py_pull_cost process.
