Symptoms


The PIA_servlet.log files are filling up with an grow over 8GB as this error is repeating numerous times:

SEVERE psft.pt8.ws.Browscap processBrowscap java.lang.NumberFormatException: empty sting
SEVERE psft.pt8.ws.Browscap processBrowscap java.lang.NumberFormatException: empty sting
SEVERE psft.pt8.ws.Browscap processBrowscap java.lang.NumberFormatException: empty sting
SEVERE psft.pt8.ws.Browscap processBrowscap java.lang.NumberFormatException: empty sting
SEVERE psft.pt8.ws.Browscap processBrowscap java.lang.NumberFormatException: empty sting



These messages only get generated for users that use Internet Explorer (IE).
