Last updated on JULY 21, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.54 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Application Designer in PeopleTools 8.54, when viewing PeopleCode and selecting "Word Wrap" from the view menu , the default coloring changing for SQLEXEC statements ,,,, E.g comment text that should be in Green shows up in red or Red SQL statements show up in Black .
This is confusing to users and makes it hard to read the code correctly.

Replication steps
1- Log into application designer .
2- open an object with Peoplecode as an example you could open the record "FUNCLIB_PWDCNTL"
3- Select View Peoplecode from the top menu
4- Reviews the code and Scroll to an "SQLEXEC" function .
5- from the top menu select View  Word Wrap .
6- Review the code and the SQLEXCEC function and any comments that may be on the same line .

Coloring scheme changes unexpectedly where comments may show in red and SQL statements in black .
