On Campus Solutions 9 after upgrading to Tools 8.54.10 from 8.53.19 and applying Campus Solutions Bundles 33 to 37, clicking the Term look up field when posting a deposit item type for a student that has several applications will result in the user session being terminated or an application server crash.
The issue does not occur if the student has one application number.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Student Financials, Charges and Payments, Post Student Payments;
2. Select an emplid that has a large number of historical applications;
3. Enter the account type and deposit item type;
4. Click Add;
5. Enter an amount;
6. Perform a look up on the term field.
Due to this issue, users cannot successfully post deposit item types for some students. This functionality worked on previous versions of Campus Solutions for students having a large number of applications and cause a downstream impact on normal application processes.
