Qn1: Went to run the ACA_WEEK query and it returned no results. The table is not populated, is this because I did not setup the ACA Dynamic/Static Groups, which creates the materialized views (although we are on 9.0 and the materialized views dont work on version9.0, right?) and is it these materialized views which populate the PS_ACA_Week table?
Qn2: If we need to set these up then if I understand correctly, it should be based upon the groups with Varying Measurement Periods and/or Salaried vs Hourly employees?
Based upon the answer we may have 2 or more groups:
- New hires, their measurement periods will differ because their initial year is based upon their Hire date and their Evaluation Period is 11 months, and once they move to the existin employee Standard Plan Year Evaluation period of 10/15/xxxx-10/14/xxxx. So these would need to have a dynamic group setup just for New Hires and should we include Salaried vs Hourly and create 2 groups for this??? Or do we base the group upon the ACA Eligibility Status?
- Existing Employees they are on a 12 month Evaluation period (Standard plan year) - Salaried vs Hourly???? ACA Eligibility Status
Qn3: It doesn't appear the average hours query takes into account FMLA, Military, Jury duty leaves, which would change the denominator? Is that correct? Does PS offer a solution for the change in denominator when an employee submits in T&L FMLA, Military or Jury duty leaves?
Qn4: What process populates the ACA_WEEK table?
Qn5: The field aca_week.ACA_PERIOD; what is the value or field used to populate this field?
