In release 9.2, PUM Image 9, Test, after adding some regular and leased assets and running AM_DPCLOSE, the following error occurs in the customer's DB2/MVS database:
Error in 500150.Step40, for SQL AM_INSDISTLN1TAO_LS
File: e:\pt85314b-retail\peopletools\src\psappeng\aedebug.hSQL error. Stmt #: 1625 Error Position: 0 Return: 8601 - [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0420N Invalid character found in a character string argument of the function "DECFLOAT". SQLSTATE=22018
Unable to create Depreciation close entries in 9.2. However AM_DPCLOSE worked in 9.1
Steps to replicate:
1. Add an asset.
2. Run am_depr_calc
3. Run am_amaedist
4. Run am_dpclose.
