Non-Zero Return Code Passed Back from FAPINASR - FAPINCLC/FAPINASR/FAPINCPR CALL ERROR - RC: 00000 (Doc ID 2030547.1)

Last updated on MARCH 09, 2020

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When running INAS Batch Calculation (FAPINCLC) or online INAS (FAPINASR and/or FAPINCPR), the process is failing with the following message in the log file...

 Processing: 1099262787
CALL ERROR - RC: 00000
Application Program Failed
 In Pgm Section :
 With Return Code: 00000

The log may also show: Error Message : ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

If the error is happening with the on-line process, users will likely see the error message: A non-zero code return was passed back from FAPINASR. (14400,20)
A cobol trace file abends with a rollback right after the FAPINCLC_S_DRVR is executed.

Beginning with Aid Year 2018-2019, it is also seen in some instances that the problem occurs with batch only when the calc INST NCP option is set to 'Y', and when it is set to 'N' the process works fine; and similarly on-line, where the 'regular' INAS calculation works fine, and only the INAS NCP calculation fails.
