Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2019

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Time and Labor - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Self Service > Time Reporting > Report Time > Timesheet
When a lot of data to be displayed at one time, performance is extremely poor.

- takes 10 sec to display UI in 1 session
- hang out to display UI for multiple session
- expensive performance (1-2 min or more) to reflect display data change
when User submit punch data entry. Occassionally time out cause.

An example Use Case is following:

1.Report Template:Punch Time Reporter
In the Timesheet screen : View By = "Calendar Period"
※Time report of one month.

2.Generally User enter punch time (10:00 - 18:00)
with multiple task information, ie. project_id into PS_TL_RPTD_TIME.
(8 - 10 tasks, eg. Sales 5 hr, Marketing 3hr..)

This is mandatory their requirement, they want to manage punch time data with detail task information since they want to calculate cost per each task.
Eventually one user will have 150 - 200 punch time rows into ps_tl_rptd_time per month.
