Information in this document applies to any platform.
The Load Depreciation Reporting Table process (AMDPREPT) calculates incorrect Year To Date (YTD) Depreciation in the Depreciation Reporting Table (PS_DEPR_RPT) if and Adjustment transaction is followed by a Book Adjustment transaction (BKS) that recalculates depreciation (Book Change Type RCL) or changes the Life(Book Change Type LFE).
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Asset Profile: AD / SL / 36.
2. Add asset and run depreciation.
3. Adjust asset and run depreciation.
4. Force recalculation of depreciation by either changing life or saving a book adjustment with calculation type = life to date. Run depreciation.
