Information in this document applies to any platform.
In HR 9.2, when the SmartHR feature is used, the process does not update the Salary Plan and Salary Grade, unless the Position Override is enabled. This is not the way the system behaves in Job Data component.
The Smart HR Template includes the following sections:
410 Work Location - Position Data
620 Job - Salary Plan
650 Job Compensation - Pay Components
1.- Create a new template and add the sections mentioned earlier.
2.- Create a new Transaction and add the Position, Salary Plan and Salary Grade values. Do not select the Override Position Data option.
3.- Save and Submit the transaction to HR and complete the process.
4.- Under Salary Plan tab in Job Data, the Salary Plan and Salary Grade values are blank.
The process does not update the Salary Plan and Salary Grade according to the values in the template, unless Position Override is selected.
The SmartHR feature should allow updating those fields without overriding the Position information, to be consistent with the way the system behaves when working in Job Data component.
