Content Groups & Content Group Types in Employee and Manager Self Service

While adding a new Content Item under the navigation 'Main Menu > Workforce Development > Profile Management > Profiles > Person profiles', the admin can search a Content Item based upon the following variables:
o Content Group Type
o Content Group
o Content Item ID
o Description

But when Manager/Employee tries adding a new Content Item under the Self Services, they can search the Content Item based on only two variables:
o Content Item ID
o Description

Is there a way to include to include the Content Group Type & Content Group into the search criteria, under the self services, so that it becomes easier for the Manager/Employee to search and add Content Items into the profiles?
