EAM: How to submit a new Leave Request for the date of a Cancelled Leave? (Doc ID 2038747.1)

When an absence request has been cancelled/approved and the user attempts to enter a new event which is/contains the same dates of the cancelled request, the following error will occur.

"The Start and End Dates request are overlapping with existing requests or absence events. Please modify your Start and/or End Date"


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log in to Fluid Time Tile and request/submit an absence.
2. Cancel the event via the cancellation feature.
3. Attempt to submit the same or other event which either matches or contains dates of the original request.
