Symptoms
SCORM 2004: Problems with Firefox - data not stored, mixed up or not available
STEPS TO REPLICATE
The issue is only with the content which has Multiple SCORM2004 in it. It works fine for single SCORM content.
It is replicable only in the Firefox browser, where the Status and the Score is not getting updated back to the LMS.
It works fine in the Internet Explorer browser.
There are a couple of issues related to Firefox in combination with data saving and/or correct data saving.
In some cases, when processing fast saving events, through SCO changes or the content wants to save data in a very frequent timeframe, the data gets lost or mixed up.
In a test case, the system did not get the result passed and the score.
Another problem with Firefox was data getting mix up during a SCO/Asset change within the navigation tree.
The third problem with Firefox - previously stored data are not available with a WBT restart.
