Symptoms

On PeopleTools 8.5x - 8.6x, a user is attempting to use the delivered template file "ExcelToCI2007.xlsm" in Microsoft Excel 2010.
The delivered complementary macro library file "RelLangMcro.xla" is present in the same directory folder.
However when opening the spreadsheet or attempting to use functions such as using ExcelToCI buttons, depending on the scenario, the warnings/errors or behavior shown below are seen:
