In an Integration Broker default local node definitions its Authentication Option was changed to "Certificate", and to enable it a new certificate was generated, signed, and imported into the Peoplesoft Digital Certificates repository, with its alias name matching the name of the default local node as required, and nevertheless on attempting to ping that node locally, the action fails, and the Ping Node Results page shows an error message as follows:
