ERS 9.1+: Is There Any Delivered Archiving Functionality For Record PS_RS_SCHED_TASK? (Doc ID 2043824.1)

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Resource Management - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Performance in certain features within the PeopleSoft Enterprise FSCM Resource Management module, such as when new Resource Assignments get created, Cache Administration Application Engine Program (RS_CACHE_AD) is launched, or even during Express Search.

This has been traced back in part due to the large volume of data stored within delivered Record PS_RS_SCHED_TASK (Calendar Table For An Employee), that stores Assignment transaction data from Employees established as Resources in the system. It also contains information from the Employee's Schedule and Calendar options, with Appointments, Available Hours, etc...

With the pass of time, and for organizations with vast numbers of Employees, this particular Record can end up storing millions upon millions of rows, which could eventually have an impact in the performance of features updating, or depending on the data stored in this Table.

As such, is there any delivered feature that would enable the archiving functionality for Record PS_RS_SCHED_TASK, so customers, according to their business requirements, and environment needs, can schedule the archiving of old and no longer used transaction data?
