E-PIA: Content Reference Vertical Spacing Too Short on Navigation Pages and Navigation Collection pages (Doc ID 2048089.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 24, 2016

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.52 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Navigation Pages & Navigation Collections display content references too close together.  There is very little vertical spacing between each content reference.

Navigate to any navigation pages or navigation collection pages, if there are multiple content references in a folder, users will see that the content reference are very close to one another, appearing as if they are being squeezed together vertically.

The problem affects only IE, and can be replicated with IE11 for example.

The problem is most prominent when using either the PSSTYLEDEF_SWAN or PSSTYLEDEF style sheets.  With those style sheets, the content reference links are all underlined, so it looks even more compressed/cramped, with letters of the lower content reference touching the underline of the upper one.  With PSSTYLEDEF_TANGERINE, there is still the small vertical spacing, but there is no underline for the content reference links, so they appear less cramped.
