E-QR: Failing Query Causes User to Get a SignOn Screen (Doc ID 2048541.1)

Symptoms

With Tools 8.53 and 8.54 when Expressions in Query refer to a field that does not exist, the query does not run, it loops for a while and then directs you to the login screen with the error below:

"An Error has occurred."

Steps to replicate:
a. Main Menu -> Reporting Tools -> Query -> Query Manager -> Create New Query
b. Add any record (e.g., JOB – EE Job History), select at least 1 field
c. Go to Expressions and add an expression referring to any record / field that does not exist:
d. Click “Run”, wait and receive error: "An Error has occurred"

But with Tools 8.51 and 8.52 when you try to save or run the query with wrong field name in Expression it will just give an error message, it does not kick you out of PeopleSoft.
