E-PUM: Can You Have Multiple Virtual Machines And Multiple Virtual Boxes On The Same Physical Machine? (Doc ID 2048542.1)

Last updated on APRIL 26, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.53 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Currently we have oracle VM installed on our physical windows machine.

1) Is that possible to install two VMs on same machine? How can we have two VMs same version? even if we get newer version and try to install, will it install as separate or it will find old one and upgrade it to newer version?

2) we can have multiple PUM images running on VM. But can we have both images running at same time or we can have only one running at a time? Does it have any downside of having multiple images on one VM or running both same time?
