Information in this document applies to any platform.
Pre-Check Budget does not Save and Submit Requisition after Editing requisition and clicking on Pre-Check Budget.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Install > Installation Options > Products > Enable Commitment Control(Note that Purchasing is checked under Enable Commitment Control)
2.Enable Budget Pre-Check
3.Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Install > Installation Options > Commitment Control > Enable Budget Pre-check (Note that Purchasing is checked under Enable Budget Pre-check )
4.eProcurement > Administer Procurement > Setup Process Definition for Requisition
5.Create Workflow to trigger using Supervisor ID.
6.Enable Workflow in Purchasing definition page
7.Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Procurement Options > Purchasing > Change Template > Requisition > REQ_LN_DISTIB
8.Make sure you have FUND_CODE and DEPTID set to Re-approve
9.Provide the necessary setups in Budget Definitions.
10.eProcurement > Create Requisition
11.Create a requisition that will be triggered by Workflow but will fail budget checking.(For eg -provided wrong chart field values to Fund and Department)
12.Save and submit
13.Log in as Approver and Approve the requisition
14.Requisition has been approved but fails budget checking.
15.Again Edit Requisition through Manage Requisition Component
16.Edit Requisition so chartfields are correct. Note: the Budget Checking Status is Error
17.Click on Pre-Check Budget
18.Receive Message that Pre-Check Budget will save and submit requisition for approval > Click OK
19.Note the Processing icon to show it is processing. After it finishes processing it will show Saved
20.Note that Budget Checking Status = Not Checked.
21.Nothing happens when you click on any of the buttons. Save and Submit, Pre-check Budget and Check Budget.
22.Page gets Stalled
But in Manage Requisition page >Status shows Pending and Budget Check =Not Checked
In the same time if you click on Save & Preview Approvals button >Budget Checking status changes to Valid>Now click on Save and Submit.
