ETL9.2: Online Leave Validation Failed At Step TL_VALD_MAIN.ST000.Step020 (Doc ID 2053777.1)

On : 9.2 version, Time Reporting

When attempting to use Employee self service and report leave time with online validation turned on, get an error in DB2/zOS environment and cannot save the timesheet.

The following error occurs.

SQL Error where the validation process abended at Step TL_VALD_MAIN.ST000.Step020
CallAppEngine:Application TL_CALL_Val: AppEngine error.(2,653) FUNCLIB_TL_WEEK.APPLY_RULES.FieldFormula Name: RunValidation PCPC:7191 Statement:69
Called from TL_MSS_EE_SRCH_PRD.GBL.SavePostChange Statement:4

During a CallAppEngine builtin function call, the Application Engine detected an error. The Application Engine log may provide more information.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. DB2 10.1 / zOS2.1 environment
2. Turn on Leave and Comptime online validations in TL Installation
3. Report 32 hours of leave time using emplolyee self service

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot report their leave time if online validation is turned on. Customer needs to have online validation to avoid the thousands of issues they would encounter if only batch validation is done.
