EGL: GL Work Center Does Not Display the Process Instance If An Action to Call Journal Edit or Post Is Invoked For A Journal which is Ready for Processing (Doc ID 2055658.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 15, 2015

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN General Ledger - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When a specific Action that invokes a process, for example "Edit Journal", in the GL Work Center > My Work  > Journal Ready for Processing, following message is displayed after selecting Edit Process and clicking GO:

"The requested process was successfully scheduled, Process Instance = 0 (5005, 510)."

Since this does not show the correct Process Instance Value , the user cannot look for in the Process Monitor to see if the transaction was indeed process.

Expected Behaviour

Expect that message displayed shows correct process instance number.

Steps/Sequence of Events

1.  Navigate to GL Work Center
2.  Under My Work , Click on Journals Ready for Processing
3.  Select a Journal, in action select Edit Journal and click GO
4.  Pop Window  displays following message :

The requested process was successfully scheduled. Process Instance = 0. (5005,510)
