Symptoms
Prior to Image 14, the system did not allow the User to set the Distribute By to Amount on the Contract, PO Distribution page when the contract line was marked Amount Only.
Is there is any way to distribute by amount rather than by percent on the PO distribution page for the Contract line? The option does not seem to exist even when the Amount Only flag is checked. However, the option to distribute by amount is available on the Voucher distribution page.
BUSINESS SCENARIOS/EXAMPLES
This is an issue due to creating contracts via direct entry and ALL of the contract lines created at Company ABC are Amount based. Some of these Contracts require unique distribution set-up and it is not intuitive for the user to manually calculate the percentage down to the 4th decimal spot rather than simply entering the dollar amount.
