How do we Hide Payment Profile Link In Self Service Student Center? (Doc ID 2062577.1)

Link to add an account profile on self service (SS_SF_ACCT_PROFILE) does not hide after removing access to the component.

Based on the following instruction:

Warning -- You have requested to turn off Use Payment Profile functionality. (14825,96)
This will prevent students from creating new or using existing payment profiles in self service.
This does not automatically delete existing payment profiles. You must run Peopletools>Process
Scheduler>System Process Requests> SSF_PPROFDEL in order to purge existing payment profiles
from the system. Also, you must remove Security for the Payment Profile component. Failure to
do so will result in existing payment profiles being retained in the system."

we would expect the link to payment profiles to be hidden in self service after we removed security for the payment profile component.

Unfortunately the students can still see the link and can continue to save new profiles.  What step have we missed?

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Turning off the Self Service Payment Profile flag on SF Installation

2   Run the app engine ssf_pprofdel to truncate (delete)  the date in the table  SF_ACCT_PROFILE after setting SSF_USE_PMT_PROFL flag in PS_INSTALLATION_SF off.

3.  Update to security to remove access to the Payment profile component

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot hide the access to save new profiles.
