Employee Self-Service – Compensation History – Issue

When a future effective-dated row is entered for a pay rate change on Job Data, the change is immediately displayed on Employee Self Service. The future row should not be viewable on Employee Self Service until the effective date becomes current.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Insert an effective-dated row on the Work Location tab with a date greater than today’s date with action = Pay Rate Change and Action/Reason = Merit. (Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data)
2. Access the Compensation tab and enter a new salary amount.
3. Sign into Employee Self Service as the employee (Self Service > Payroll and Compensation > Compensation History). Note the future dated pay rate change is displayed.
