Buying Agreement Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) Calculation Takes Sales Order Lines into Account that Are Not Linked to the Buying Agreement (Doc ID 2067299.1)

Last updated on JULY 16, 2018

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Order Management - Version 9.1 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You observe that the Sales Order entry page (navigation: Order Management, Quotes and Orders, Create/Update Order) considers all Sales Order lines with the same Product when determining if the Buying Agreement Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) has been violated, even if only one of the lines is associated with the Buying Agreement.

Steps to replicate the issue:

  1. Create a Buying Agreement with a Minimum Order Quantity of 25 for Item 10000.
  2. Add Product 10000 to a new Sales Order, on two different lines, and associate the first line to the Buying Agreement.
  3. Make sure the COMBINED quantities across both lines is over 25, however the line associated with the Buying Agreement should be under 25.
  4. Observe: the system does not enforce the Minimum Order Quantity of 25 on the line associated to the Buying Agreement.
