EGL9.1: Journal Entry Edit/Post Gets Combo Edit Error When Using Two Trees With Same Name but Different Effective Dates

On : 9.1 version, Combo Edit

Combo Edit Error

The user is receiving a combo edit error when trying to Edit/ Post a journal entry that uses a Combo Edit Group.
The user is using 2 trees that have the same name but different effective dates in the Combination Rules. He builds the combo edit using Master Selector Tables.

" Correct ChartFields Combination on Line Number: 1 Schedule Number: 1 Distribution Line Number: 1 for Chartfields: ACCOUNT/FUND_CODE/PRODUCT in Group: ACCTFUND. (10208,66)
For a list of valid Chartfield combination data, please refer Combination Data under SetUp Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Design Chartfields > Combination Editing > Review Combination Data."

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a journal entry that uses the Combo Edit Group;
2. Edit the journal entry;
3. Receive the Combo Edit Error message.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot Edit/ Post the journal entry that uses this Combo Edit Group.
