On a PUM 6 installation: When an HR administrator finalizes the performance document, the name of the HR administrator that gives his approval was displayed in the audit history. But currently, after applying PUM12, PeopleSoft displays ‘system’ when the HR administrator approved the document.
On the other hand when the HR administrator creates a performance document, then the correct name (of the HR admin) is displayed in audit history and not ‘System’.
This audit issue popped up after our HRHCMDEV environment is upgraded to PUM 12.
We found the explanation in the recent PeopleBooks. PeopleSoft gives the client the option to have an approval flow that is different. Our client chooses that the manager does not approve, but only the admin can give the approval.
So it is logic that the system shows the name of the approver (the same way as it was on PUM 6) and how it is working upon creating ePerformance documents and not ‘system’.
