Self Service Compensation History View Displays the Salary Out of Order (Doc ID 2072204.1)

Compensation History View displays the Salary out of order.

In the case where an employee has multiple salary changes in Job Data using the same effective and effective sequence 0 and 1.  The information is displayed out of salary order showing the lower salary amount first rather than the higher amount.


1. Navigate to Administer Workforce > Job Data
2. Select an employee. If there are no multiple same effective dated rows, then add one to the most current row, making sure that the effective sequence = 1.
Give a salary increase, and save. You should have 2 effective dated rows same date effective sequence 0 and 1.
3. Navigate to Manager Self Service > Compensation and Stock > View Compensation History
4. Note the most current change effective sequence 1 is shown 2nd in the listing even though it is the most current salary change and should be shown first in the list.
